New Horizons

New HorizonsColumbia Precast Products began operations in March of 2013 and recently celebrated our two year anniversary.  As we look back, we hardly resemble our humble beginnings.  Over the course of our first two years, we continued to make strides in all aspects of our business.

In early 2014, we began to formalize on our quality control program, hired a quality control manager, and made the decision to pursue the National Precast Concrete Association’s (NPCA) Certified Plant program.  We obtained that certification in the spring of 2014.  With NPCA plant certification in hand along with Washington State DOT Drainage, Oregon DOT Drainage, and City of Portland approvals we began the process for the Washington State Bridge approval, which we obtained in November of 2014.

Our product line continued to expand, which allowed us compete on a much broader playing field as our capabilities have grown.  This allows us to better serve our customers and offer solutions that add value to any given project.

Notable Project Highlights:

Walnut Creek – City of Salem:  14’ x 7’ Box Culvert and associated wing walls.

Discovery Corridor – Clark Regional Wastewater District:  Custom precast lined boxes, vaults, and manholes.

Lilliwap Falls Generation Company:  Custom Precast Diversion Structure.

City of Portland – I5/SW 26th Ave Project:  Custom Detention Vaults and associated drainage products.

Myrtle Point Wastewater Treatment Plant – City of Myrtle Point:  Outfall and overflow structures.

Our goals and mission for the business have remained the same, Quality, Safety, Service, and we look forward to the future and the new horizons it will provide.
